John L. Wilson

John L. Wilson, an officer with the Homestead Borough Police Department, was shot on September 6, 1918, while attempting to arrest John Kyle for trespassing in a home. Wilson had been called to the scene by a resident of the home. During the altercation, Wilson shot and killed Kyle.

Wilson died on September 8, 1918.
